Project Description

Poplar Insulation are working with Skanska UK on a £259 million Ministry of Defence contract to deliver the Vehicle Storage Support Programme (VSSP) at Ashchurch in Tewkesbury, which will provide modern, sustainable and effective storage and maintenance for the British Army’s land equipment fleet.

The VSSP will regenerate the existing site, providing brand new infrastructure and refurbished buildings. This centralised facility will provide a Controlled Humidity Environment for up to 4,100 Army vehicles, minimising the need for maintenance to ensure they are ready to deploy when required.

Poplar Insulation are contracted to undertake the full insulation and trace heating package on this project spread across multiple buildings at the Tewkesbury MOD site.
