Benenden Hospital

Project Description

Benenden Hospital was a refurbishment and new extension of an existing hospital, phased over a 2 year period. Phase 1 consisted of the refurbishment of the existing building, logistically this was challenging due to the hospital still being in operation therefore certain areas were restricted or off limits. Phase 1 also housed the main central plantroom located in the basement area with restricted height, therefore a lot of services were undertaken in a small space. Phase 2 was the new build extension, which commenced when phase 1 was complete.
